Lucy is the girl who cried wolf... or monster rather. She always loved freaking out her younger brother with tales of monsters, but when she sees the library and acting rather funny one day she gets a monster scare of her own. And this time it's for real. The problem is, nobody believes her! The ending of this book was great! LMAO ??

#unreliablenarrators I'm thinking of the common Goosebumps 'false alarm' spoof chapters in general, which really annoyed my interest as a kid. I'll mention The Girl Who Cried Monster on that note 😂 the TV episode sure was creepy! #maybookflowers

This is the best one so far. The suspense wasn't too shabby and the creepy, grossly aspects were quite... well, creepy and gross, haha. I wasn't expecting that ending at all, which was a great surprise. I don't recommend reading this prior to, during, or right after eating. I made that mistake and almost vomited into Sir BF's face. Poor guy! 3/5!

This is probably the best written instalment in the series so far. It's the creepiest with most yuckiest imagery, at the very least. I'm actually surprised with myself and how engrossed I am by this, haha. The monster-loving-brat within me is quite enthused! 😆

Insects creep me the fruit out so it'll be interesting to read through this one! I've got to admit, even though these books are for kids and can be cheesy, they still manage to have that right dash of creepiness. 🙃
