1.) I've never been to Nevada, I'd like to travel the Extraterrestrial Highway, stop in at the little town of Rachel and visit Little A'Le'Inn and do the whole Area 51 tour thing! 🛸💯

2.) I don't really participate in challenges because I change my mind too much and can't stick to what's to be read next, but I smashed my goal of 70 books this year and currently on 73 - I'm happy with this! 📚

Not a badly written book, just very misleading. It's not so much about America' UFO highway, which isn't even mentioned until near the end of the book, but about one man's, Chuck Zukowski, growing obsession with UFO phenomena and animal mutilations. Not surprised this author also wrote an X-Files novel, lots of talk about government conspiracies, black helicopters and mysterious black SUVs. 3 💥💥💥 out of 5

This book started off strong, but quickly lost its way for me. Chuck Zukowski's obsessive hobby is the scientific study of UFOs. In the first half of the book his story seemed disjointed, I think because the timeline and location was changing every few pages. The "evidence" left me skeptical. Chuck's building paranoia left me concerned for his state of mind.

So the cover is misleading. The 37th parallel isn't where I grew up in north Missouri, it is where I live now in south Missouri! This book describes some really eerie and unexplained events mostly in the western US. Although not the traditional witches, demons,etc it is season appropriate. 👽

Today's #libraryhaul is two new nonfiction and one (slightly) older fiction. Couldn't resist the UFO highway book. It looks like it goes right over my hometown according to the cover art. 👽👾
