Pickpick

A bit of a nerdy #doublespin pick, this #audiobook looks at the history of antibiotic resistance and the various parts at play from overuse to plasmids. I found many of the historical bits fascinating.

As a veterinarian, I am very invested in One Health (vet and human medicine tackling problems together). It was nice to read about international efforts on this front. But it probably won‘t help me explain why it‘s important to use shampoo therapy*

Megabooks * for those of you that own pets, the latest statements I have read about skin and ear infections is to use topical therapy before going to oral therapy. Generally people who have 100 lb dogs are unhappy to hear they need to be bathed 3x a week in January. They want a pill. I understand it. It‘s difficult, especially when your boss gave out cephalexin like candy 😬 5y
