Guess who gets to sift through today's massive #AmishFiction donations 😁! Yes, one person donated all of these. Amazing!!! And we need them too, we have quite a few patrons who can't get enough of this sub-genre. Library #bookporn #LitsyLovesLibraries

LibrarianRyan We had 2 entire shelves devoted to this genre. 6y
DivaDiane Wow! Everthing‘s a thing! 6y
BookBabe I‘ve been curious about reading those... 6y

MicheleinPhilly I don‘t think you‘re supposed to use Amish and porn in the same blurb, Jason. 6y
Librarybelle As someone who also shifts through donations to add to the library, I know my patrons would LOVE that stack of books. My community is also a heavy Amish fiction reading community. I now know too to keep the really big names, like Beverly Lewis, on a shelf for quick processing if our circulating copy is lost or damaged. 6y
Reviewsbylola That‘s amazing. 6y
VanChocStrawberry We call them Bonnet Rippers. 😂😂 6y
Soubhiville @VanChocStrawberry Bonnet Rippers!?!? 🤣🤣🤣 6y
DanaManiac How fun!! I loved Amish fiction as a teen- Beverly Lewis was my fave! 6y
LeeRHarry There's a thing called Amish fiction, who knew? 6y
MrBook @MicheleinPhilly 🤔😳😱😆 BWAHAHA!!!! 😂😂😂👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 6y
MrBook @VanChocStrawberry 😂😂👏🏻👏🏻 6y
StillLookingForCarmenSanDiego That's funny. There's a niche for everything! 6y
MrBook @LeeRHarry It's popular through much of Pennsylvania, up into lower-central New York, and some areas of Ohio. All areas where the Amish live in good-sized communities. Like @Librarybelle and @LibrarianRyan , our library has shelves of these books! We'd be dealing with quite a few irate patrons if we didn't keep up with their intense demand for more, more, MORE! (Which we're most happy to oblige, lol.) (edited) 6y
Crewgurl I was literally just scrolling through my elibrary new books last night and was shocked at the volume of Amish fiction. I hadn‘t even realized that was a genre 😂 6y
klarusu I must live a sheltered existence ... I never realised there was such a thing as 'Amish fiction'. I evidently need to get out more 🤣 6y
TheFunkyBookworm Are they romance based?! I must know more!!! 6y
CouronneDhiver I read LOADS of them when I was first getting back into reading a couple years ago... Hubby always teased me “Where‘s the intrigue? At the end of the story, they will love each other and get married” 😂😂😂 I haven‘t read anything even remotely romance related since. Onward and upward 6y
MrBook @TheFunkyBookworm Lol, indubitably! 6y
jillrhudy Blech. I despise them. Still, a donation like this would make me perk up. Replacement City! They fall apart soooo fast. 6y

Loved this on audio - but you'll want print if you are hoping to bake any of the awesome recipes. Love seeing the series continue and following the sweet romances of these beloved characters. On to book 3 for me!

Listening to this during drive times this week. Fun story. Great meaning. Only downside to audio is I can't try the recipes.... 😫
