An enjoyable mystery, full of Yorkshire atmosphere. This series tends toward the cozy rather than the thriller side. The collegial atmosphere between principals is refreshing. Another read down for my #BookSpinBingo card!

My deck yesterday . . . it was 80 here in southern Michigan.

Gissy Pretty and comfy! Perfect place to spend time reading a good book! 📖 👌 (edited) 3y
Chrissyreadit Pretty! Looks like a lovely place to read. 3y
TheAromaofBooks Woohoo!! And I'm also wondering where fall is?! Around 80 all week this week... although it looks like the front may be coming through on Friday, so we'll see what happens! But the trees have barely changed here and we are usually close to peak color by this time. 3y

My October #BookSpin list! Lots of mysteries, including some set in the Fall/at Halloween, plus a non-fiction read about wildfires and a couple of historical fiction reads. I‘ve had Seven Sisters from the library three times; will this be the month I get it read before someone else puts it on hold? Tune in and find out! (Greatly looking forward to the tagged book).

@TheAromaofBooks

MittenGirlPeach I have 21 books on the list so I have an extra book to plug in if needed. 3y

Why do I read the middle of a series? Because I got it free from Netgalley and NOW I am going to have to read from the beginning of the series. I enjoyed this book. I fell in love with all the characters. I guess I will just add another series to the ones I already read😊

TheShaggyShepherd If you haven‘t read the Louise Penny books and don‘t mind starting in the middle, the audiobook for All the Devils are Here is on NetGalley. I‘m not a murder mystery fan but omg. That was riveting! 4y
MonicaLoves2Read @TheShaggyShepherd Thanks. I love mysteries. I will have to see if I can get it! 4y

When given a chance to review this book I jumped at it as have wanted to read this author for a while. This was set in the wilds of North Yorkshire. A good plot to the story with the inexplicable Murder of an objectionable man which was witnessed late at night. A quite intriguing plot with some fresh ideas thrown in. This was an easy and good read and I loved the main set of characters. Will be going back to read the rest of the series.

Andrew65 Book 6 for #NetGalleyReviewathon #NetGalley #TheNidderdaleMurders Thanks to the author, publishers and NetGalley for providing a review copy of this book in exchange for a open and honest review. 4y

Started a new #NetGalley book set in the wilds of North Yorkshire. A good start so far, even though I have not read the rest of the series. #NetGalleyReviewathon

veritysalter I‘m tempted to read this. Every bloody Founder‘s Day at my school and my Bronze Duke of Edinburgh were based around Nidderdale (seven years and miles of walking) I have an unfair loathing of the place. It has a nice ice cream shop though 😉 Happy Reading. 4y
Andrew65 @veritysalter 🤣 Can see how it will have left a lasting effect. 4y
