Meh. Less thrilled about this one, if the excerpted short story is to be taken as true to type.

This is the entire story, yes? It feels like a Chapter One.

Mehso-so

The overall theme and settings for the stories were great. I love drive-ins and old worn down theaters. There are no absolute clunkers here, but they‘re mostly just good, not great. I can‘t fully recommend it to others, but you could do worse with passing the time.

Pickpick

“... tendrils of celluloid flapping and twisting outward from the core of the shape‘s bulk. Film reels hung from the ends of various strands” (95).

This anthology surrounds itself with the nostalgic environment of multiplexes and drive-ins aligned with cars filled with their own unique and grotesque horror stories wrapped up with a mesmerizing bloody bow on top. Full review on #GoodReads
