Ive been MIA. Bad news. I had a really tough month, reading & lifewise. I had a biopsy done. Good news, it's benign 💕. Really took a much needed mental break from everything. Yesterday was tough, my sister got into a car accident. She is doing okay & luckily no one else was hurt. Did pretty well in April!!! but tagged is holding me back a bit. Managed to get to chapter 34. Hopefully can push through it in May. Very much a tell not show dense writing style & there is an abundance of information.

20 - Started out very promising but enemies to lovers fizzled quickly. The “tension“ felt swept under the rug but atmospherically was fantastic.
4 - Hurt to mark that low since I devoured the first in the series. Excruciatingly slow, then nonstop last 10%. FMC still pissing me off but Blakes development 😍!!!!

TBH highly disappointed in lack of FMC growth & substantial plot in Bond That Burns until the last 25%. At least that is one of my #readyourkindle down for the month. Highly recommend the audiobook for tagged. The narrator was phenomenal! The #netgalley #arc was my favorite. Unique in a genre thats heavily overpopulated now with so much action/political drama.

Absolutely loved Blood & Steel so much I bought the rest of the series. Tense, action filled with phenomenal in depth characters. Sapphire & Steel was decent but conflicts were resolved too quickly for all the build up with zero consequences.
