Love Jennifer Nielsen‘s WWII YA HF! In France, Meg believes that her father has been captured by the NAZIs. All she has left of him are the codes he placed in a jar for her to decipher…

I always see great reviews of Jennifer Nielsen‘s books, but for some reason it takes me a long time to get around to reading them. This is another great and action packed historical fiction about the French resistance and the use of codes during WWII.

A flight from German-occupied France to safety. Who can be trusted? Will Meg break the code in time to figure it out? This action packed tale of espionage and secret codes will catch the attention of readers. Jennifer Nielsen writes great historical fiction for middle grades. Looking forward to reading more by her.
