#BookSpinBingo I could have spun out my bingo longer by finishing Witchmark first, but here we go, I've finally finished one of the two bingos I'm going for this month.
pickThis is the second book in the Will Darling Adventures and all I can do is squee. These books so far tick all of fun and pleasure and page-turner boxes, and I'm WHOLLY invested in Will and Kim. The first book set the pace with the intrigue and the physical desire, and the second book ups the emotional stakes with more intrigue and desire that's turning into something more than lust. The dynamic between the two lovers is my favourite bit. 😍
I just realized I forgot to share my final 2020 Spending Log!
Overall, I spent $54.65 on 24 books—my lowest total ever. Pandemic closures definitely played a role there. The Children‘s Hospital Book Market and the FOTL Book Sale were both cancelled, I only managed one bookstore browse, and I made few thrift store visits between lockdowns.
I‘m proud I stuck with my #getbookreadbook thing, too. I entered 2021 with zero unread 2020 purchases!
Why hello book that‘s on my #BookSpinBingo card... if I ever finish my current read (my Friday self was like yasssss read this 600 page door stopper!!! Never mind the books that have been waiting patiently for you) I will read this!!!
