This one seemed to me more about Agatha Raisin‘s shenanigans and less about the mystery, though it was still quite enjoyable. The discovery of the body is a bit gruesome, but fortunately for us Agatha wants to find out what happened. Agatha is in turns maddening and hilarious. Penelope Keith‘s narration is so much fun to listen to!

I quite enjoyed book 22 in the Agatha Raisin series via audiobook. I really don‘t know what I‘m going to do with myself once I hit the end of the series! Some reviews on goodreads tend to see Agatha as not very likable, but I disagree. She‘s a different sort of heroine than we see in most murder mysteries, and her flaws ring true and make her much more relatable, at least imo. I can‘t recommend this series enough! 4⭐️

I honestly thought i wasn't going to enjoy this book as much as the other Agatha Raisin books but i was surpised that i enjoyed it a lot more than expected!
The way the murder was done and the body was found had to be one of the most creative ideas M.C Beaton had!
Fantastic!
