My #TBRtarot pick this month was a quick read and something I definitely don‘t read often- a YA bank robbery thriller? No dragons or magic? I heard Netflix is making this one a movie with Millie Bobbie Brown so of course that‘s who I pictured the whole time. A cute story about sisters who grew up with a con artist mother and those skills help them when one is taken hostage in a bank robbery. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Read two books that were just not quite my jam, and so metaphorically cracked this one open. Wonderfully paced book about a girl who was the daughter of a con artist, and now in a bank hostage situation, will have to reach into the con artist toolbox to get her girlfriend and her best friend out of this.

The trickiest part of Nora‘s day should have been dealing with her ex boyfriend having walked in on her kissing her girlfriend. Instead the three of them end up hostages in a bank robbery. Neither her ex nor her girlfriend know the whole truth about who Nora is and her past but the bank robbers are about to learn that Nora is not the type of teenage girl who quietly sits and waits to be rescued. Dark and twisty this was quite a ride.
