Caraval
Nech už je to akoko?vek, Scarlett ním musí prejs? aj so zlomeným srdcom a nájs? sestru, kým sa spustí nebezpe?ný dominový efekt následkov a navždy ju stratí.

Chained to a dull, dreary island, Scarlett Dragna and her sister, Tella, commonly fantasized about experiencing mystical wonders. Their imaginations were fed by stories of the Caraval, an exclusive performance overbrimming with eye-catching wanders. Upon reaching seventeen, Scarlett is betrothed to a count by the diction of her cruel father. Her ambition to behold magical treasures is shattered until she receives a letter.

chelzy.rosario It contained a formal invitation written by the Caraval Master Legend. With the assistance of a charmingly handsome sailor, Scarlett arrives at the Caraval to discover the kidnapping of her sister. To rescue Tella, Scarlett is pushed to participate in a deceitful game, where the boundaries of reality and fiction are non-existent.

If you enjoy books with imaginative settings, this book is for you!

chelzy.rosario Caraval is written in a third-person limited POV, and the narrative is told through the protagonist‘s, Scarlett Dragna, perspective. The narrator of the book refers to her by name or through pronouns such as she, her, and hers. The text conveys her exact emotions, ideas, ambitions, and thoughts, while the audience infers the feelings and ideas of the other characters. Lastly, the development of the characters progresses relative to their relations 13mo
MissYaremcio Nicely done Chelzy! This reminds me of “Midnight Circus“ - you might like it! 6/6 13mo

I overall really enjoyed this book a lot. Pretty easy read. This book had much adventure and twists and turns. Very much a book to get lost in. The ending wasn‘t my favorite but overall would recommend!

This is such a great read! It has just enough of all the good things. A little mystry and a little adventure mixed with just enough romance. Even after finishing this book, I'm not entirely sure what happened or who to believe.

Loved the concept of this book! A fantastical game with magic and an underlying sense of danger. Not a fan of the main character or the ending- everything happened around the main character but not because of her.
