Weirdly delightful! I went into the book knowing almost nothing of it, except that 42 was important to something. Now I want to watch the movie!

julesG @rockpools Tried that. Failed miserably. Pre-ordered the book faster than I could close Instagram, where Chris Riddell showed the book in March. 4y

GingerAntics Mine doesn‘t say 42nd anniversary edition, either. Oh well. I‘m just happy to have such a lovely edition of this book. I was trying to pick which one I wanted to get when you originally posted this. Clearly I was meant to have this edition. 4y

GingerAntics @julesG the was the only one available when I preordered. The paperback showed up as an option last week maybe, but by then I‘d budgeted for the hardcover and preordered it, so I figured I‘d just stick with iy. 4y

GingerAntics @julesG that sucks!!! Then again, we tend to get everything else early around here, so I suppose turn around is fair play. It was weird we didn‘t have the paperback option until the last minute either. 4y
