These were so good I need more!!!😭 They are very reminiscent of Studio Ghibli‘s Spirited Away but with a romance as a major theme (which I‘m dying for it to develop a little faster…). I love the characters, especially the Ōdanna and I can‘t wait for Aoi to catch some serious feels because the Ōdanna‘s flirtations are cracking me up! I know the anime was never completed so I‘m desperately hoping the same fate won‘t befall the manga. I‘m obsessed!

Okay. I found the book plot interesting and just vague enough that you want to know more about this mystery. I feel like Ōdonna has an ulterior motive for wanting to marry Aoi. And Aoi‘s crystal hair piece, I think that will turn out to be some kind of power for her. The manga explains new terms in the storyline as well as a glossary in the back. Very helpful. I may read the next book.

Kakuriyo: B&B for Spirits, vol 1

I remember watching the anime a while back and enjoyed the story. So when the manga was released, of course I had to collect it 😉

This series is about a girl was taken away to the spirit realm as a debt-payment owed by her grandfather. To pay it off, she works at a shop preparing food for various spirits who stop by. 😲😆

Simple and relaxing read. Can‘t wait for more!

Couple of new manga today.

Vol. 17 of One-Punch Man has an 8 page long punch in it that cracked me up. 😅

Kakuriyo is an anime that I friggen LOVE so I have to read the comic too! It's about this young girl, Aoi, that has been whisked away to the spirit world to work off her deceased grandfather's massive debt. Hijinks ensue!
