This book could be condensed into about 50 pages of actual story, the rest is exhausting details such as this which do not contribute to any world building or storytelling.

It didn‘t show as I wanted😬but my intention was:
Numbers from 1 to 10-books set in winter
Numbers 11-12 books that are sequels
Numbers 13-14 first book in 2 different series
Numbers 15-16 Books in Spanish language (includes translated to Spanish)
Number 17 Buzzword for January -any title that has any of these words: how, when, why, who, where, what
Numbers 18-20 books from my old tbr
Trying to be flexible to see if I can read more🤷🏽‍♀️

Mehso-so

When Cornwell‘s Scarpetti series first started I loved them. Then the writing changed. I gave this book a try and here we go again. Good concept but I could have wrote this with 200 less pages. Too much fluff. I love science facts but 1/3 of the beginning is driving in a snowstorm...I almost quit. Last 3 Chapters are good, leads to the next book that I will sadly skip. Good potential but too many unneeded boring details.😩
