pickA formulaec, cute teen queer romance. Loved the trans, BIPOC, nonbinary/genderqueer/agender, and ace rep. The drama levels got out of hand a little at time to the point I was just rolling my eyes. Overall, though, it was really fun to watch Noah struggle with idealized thoughts of how romance works and watching him grow throughout. #LGBTQ #Romance

bailedNoah is a very unlikable and entitled character even for a 16 year old. I really couldn't keep reading it, there were times when he was downright nasty to people he supposedly cared about
bailedI was so excited about this book and yet it was the biggest let down. My biggest issue with the book was Noah. He was so entitled and only thought of himself. He couldn‘t even bother to be nice to his brother‘s girlfriend. Despite his brother being nothing but supportive and doing things for him. I loved Drew. But the thought of him being with Noah made me not even wanting to finish it.

pickThis is a shockingly underrated book. It was SO GOOD. I hadn‘t understood the appeal of predictable romance novels until recently, but now the last two books I‘ve read have been romances. I have to say though, the love interests‘ names are Drew and Devin. I‘m sure you can see how that got confusing fast. But still, SO GOOD. 5🌟
Not sure if it‘s always this price, but if you haven‘t got it yet…now is the time!!! #lbgtqia+ because my TBR needs one more!!
so-soThis book is marketed solely as a fake-dating romance, when it‘s actually a total subversion of the trope. I did end up liking the romance once I understood what was actually happening, but that initial 1/3 had me confused & unhappy. I liked the narrative voice a lot, & Devin was utterly precious & had a particularly compelling journey. Unexpected, but still a cute story about learning sometimes life can be better than fairytales. ★★★☆☆.
