I think I enjoyed Thomas even more in this book than I did in the last book. I liked that Audrey Rose was less focused on her white-passing looks and more focused on the adventure she was having. I loved the dark academia vibes I got from this book. Overall, it was a nice time!

I definitely cried for the whole last 30 pages of this book. This book gave me a whole new view to the story of Achilles. This book was written beautifully and there was so much love. And if you know anything about the story of Achilles, it could only end in heartbreak. Beautiful, beautiful book.

This book was so easy to read. Atmosphere was great. Honestly I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I loved it that this book took place in New Orleans and I loved the history surrounding this book. Definitely a great addition to the series.

This book has me crying the entire way through it. Everyone grieves over the loss of someone they care about differently. Going through this grief with Julie was eye opening. We all wish to grieve and get over loss gracefully, and sometimes, it just doesn‘t happen. I feel like this book was a fair representation of that and showing the steps of healing and moving on are just not easy. This book is definitely one of my new favorites.

AIDAN continued to be my favorite. Though he‘s more of a grey character, it‘s hard to argue with his logic. Can‘t spoil this part. But my heart goes to AIDAN.

I was so excited about this book and yet it was the biggest let down. My biggest issue with the book was Noah. He was so entitled and only thought of himself. He couldn‘t even bother to be nice to his brother‘s girlfriend. Despite his brother being nothing but supportive and doing things for him. I loved Drew. But the thought of him being with Noah made me not even wanting to finish it.

It‘s very fast paced. It‘s fun. Full of a new mythology that I didn‘t know very much about. I enjoyed all the characters. Even Aru. Sometimes I found her annoying but for the most part she‘s likable.

When I first read this book, I mostly hated Clary. After rereading this, I hate Jace too. Kind of still love everyone else. My heart still breaks for Magnus and Alec! I still remember this series fondly!

It was good for the most part. It threw me for a loop at the main reveal. So as a mystery it was good. I didn‘t like the MANY times Audrey Rose mentioned she was “white” though. It seemed unnecessary to know she was white-passing. And the men mostly annoyed me. Thomas grew on me after a while though. Though he did irritate me at first. But it was a solid 3 stars for me.

It was very cute. Very sweet. But towards the end it got kinda annoying. These characters could have communicated so much more than they did and yet didn‘t. But overall, it was an enjoyable read. I actually liked the squirrel! A solid 3 stars.

I was annoyed by how they spoke mostly. Something about it was weird and not very smooth. Fie annoyed me and I think the only person I liked was Tavin. But not enough to finish the book. It was sadly not my vibe. And the audiobook wasn‘t much better. My first read was a sad DNF!

Emily92Bibliophile I agree with 💯 of everything you said! Wanted to like this one but Fie‘s way of talking annoyed me 👎🏻 (edited) 2y

I solid 3.5 stars from me. It was pretty good. Very political heavy. But go into it knowing that it‘s very rape heavy and very abuse heavy. But it is a good book. Right now Damon is my favorite. Laurent is a little shit. But he‘s growing on me.

Like a 4.5 stars. This book was pretty good. I loved that it felt very personal for me, being Hispanic. I love that Casiopea mirrors a lot of my own thoughts when it comes to the Hispanic culture and our own indigenous roots that have seem to have gotten lost to Catholicism. I love Casiopea's rebellion towards the traditional sexism in Mexican culture and I saw myself in her character. I loved the romance as well.

The first time I read this book, I remembered liking it. This time around, I liked it much less. I didn‘t love the characters and I wasn‘t amused by many of these choices and sometimes I was more confused about why the chose a specific action rather than another. I just couldn‘t really enjoy it and instead found myself annoyed. Sadly I will not be continuing with this series.

Alexandra Bracken is an amazing writer. No doubt about that. This book is written beautifully! And the concept is great! The problem I had was pacing and feeling any connection to these characters. I also had a strangely hard time to read into it, despite liking it at first. So in the end, I couldn‘t keep my head in it and decided to abandon it.

Rereading these books have been an amazing experience. The third book in the series is no exception. This book made me feel so much closer to Piper, Leo, Frank and Hazel. Rick Riordan is an amazing writer and makes it so easy to fall in love with these characters!

It was alright. Most of the dialogue is exactly like the Disney movie. Which makes it drag sometimes and other times brings joyful nostalgia. It was nice to see a different take to Aladdin.

Like a 4.5. I loved this book so much. But I hate Lila. I don‘t understand how she was pretty much given a pass for everything and yet deserved none of it. Like I know she‘s supposed to be a grey character but I didn‘t see her as a grey, I saw her as annoying and bratty at times. I loved and cried for Holland. And I loved Kell only when he had nothing to do with Lila. Rhy and Alucard‘s romance was like the best in the series.

Like 4.5. It took me a while to get into it. I think after about 80 pages, I was hooked and couldn‘t put it down. Jennifer L. Armentrout has such a way with writing supernatural male characters. Lot of steamy scenes definitely hit the mark. The romance, spot on. Definitely one of my favorites.

I enjoyed this book more than I thought I would. I always have loved the story of Hades and Persephone. So a romance about them was definitely on my radar. At times the sexual scenes were a bit awkward. But I thought the story itself was pretty good and I liked a lot of the characters. A solid 4 star for me, cheesiness and all.

I couldn‘t figure out why this book was so bad for me, then it clicked. It‘s literally Twilight. And I hated Twilight. Which mean after 3/4 of the way in, I bailed and DNF‘d it. I could not do it. I feel like the characters were just throw together in no real since than to just create some type of fan fiction that seems original. Disliked. Completely.

Another read for me that I did not enjoy as much. I loved the book and the story line. But I feel as tho Lila‘s character was so inconsistent and she was annoying over all. And Kell, I love him but it seemed as tho every time Lila was in the room, his character, and brain for that matter, went out the window. Hoping the last book is better. 3 star from me.
