I‘m giving this a pick even though until I read this to a bunch of kids, I can‘t really decide how they‘ll respond to it. This book takes a common metaphor taught in both eastern & western schools of mindfulness meditation, the idea that thoughts and emotions are changeable like clouds, & tries to adapt it to teach kids how to embrace & manage their own unpleasant emotions by creating an extended metaphor out of the idea that crying is like rain.
