Had to get my new tights in this pic too ❤️ These were after work purchases from an op shop on the way home from school a while back. I listened to Paige speak at the SWF this year so I‘m keen to try 1 of her short stories to see if I like her writing. Short stories are a good way to do that. The Imogen Crimp was 1 I saw on Secret Book Stuff. They are all about leaving books around the place for people to find. I recommend following them on Insta.

The lovely @Jeg passed this on to me. It was interesting to read about the Rhodes Scholarship & how Australia‘s political & education systems reinforce power and privilege. Lee writes very well.
However it seemed somewhat unfocused. There were lots of facts & figures (which I enjoyed), as well as extensive exploration of her own inferiority complex. I learnt about the kyriarchy, which Bri posits is how our system operates. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Loved her first book . This one did not disappoint. Well researched and written she gave me lots to think about.
It worries me that our places of learning are becoming elitist rather than offering equality of opportunity which they claim to offer.
@MrsMalaprop would you like this copy. It‘s ready to keep moving.

MrsMalaprop Yes please 🙏 2y
