I finished a second somewhat dark book during the #readathon and might finish a third one by the end of the day.
Psychological thrillers aren‘t really my cup of tea, but this one is well done and a page turner.

Right away this reminded me of a true story I read last year about a woman who “went crazy” but there was a biological reason. The more this story went on,the more I could see trauma was culprit. Most people don‘t take trauma seriously, but your brain never forgets. I guessed the identity twist, it had to be “her;” I kept thinking all along she had something to do with it all.The book was very good, LB did her research on this one.Book#56 in2022
This was a quick, easy read that I enjoyed freezing to death outside in the beautiful fall colors🍁🍂
I did love this book, I was so invested. However, it drops off so quickly and abruptly finishes. I am now on my way to obsess over more Lucinda Berry books

A clever plot that alternates between the past and the present to show how childhood traumas can indeed effects us as adults.
