Yay! I met my #20in4 goal to finish When Two Feathers Fell from the Sky!
It was a slow start for me but picked up as it went along.

It‘s nice to have you back again @Andrew65 ! Keeping in tradition I‘m late to sign up for the #20in4 Readathon Relaunch Event. But I‘m here!
My goal is to read 243 pages and finish the tagged book. So far today I read 7!

1. Wow, you really had to come at us like that @TheSpineView ! 😅 If I have to pick just one, Nature Boy performed by Nat King Cole. “The greatest thing you‘ll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return.”
2. I‘m only 50 pages into the tagged book, so for now I would say Adventure of a Lifetime by Coldplay.
👉 Tag, you‘re it.

I liked the main plot and most of the characters. A few of the side plots weren‘t as interesting, though, and the ending felt kind of rushed.
Happy Thanksgiving for those who celebrate! And for those who don't, happy random Thursday. Here are some great Indigenous books I've loved / want to read. I feel like educating myself is the least I can do considering the complicated origins of Thanksgiving.
And if you'd like to donate to an appropriate and worthy cause check out https://www.wlrp.org/ The Wampanoag Reclamation Project, which I learned about from Max Miller on Tasting History.
I loved this. Definitely recommend.

4🌟A transportive historical fiction about a young Cherokee woman working as a horse diver in the Jim Crow era. With a touch of the supernatural and mystery this made for an entertaining read! Verble who is of Cherokee paints a vivid picture of the times. Of racism and segregation. Two Feathers was such an interesting character! Her fearlessness and adventurous spirit. Verble does a great job turning reality into fiction. #bookreview
