I'll read anything with a rabbit on the cover. Go ahead and judge me. Bunnies are awesome and I will defend this opinion. This book is also quite great. Very big brother meets Fahrenheit 451.

I like dystopian fiction. Like please give me all of it right now. This one has an interesting concept. Basically all of the white people have drowned themselves in a mass event. The ones left behind are a mix of joyful and lost. It reminded me weirdly of Underground Airlines.
#BookSpinBingo @TheAromaofBooks
This is cute. I mean there's serial killers and stuff. But it's pretty fluffy regardless.
#BookSpinBingo @TheAromaofBooks
I love dystopian fiction. I like them weird and pretty dark. Bonus points if they're translations from unknown authors. I definitely recommend this if those things sound good to you. I definitely finished this while at a bar drinking water because I no longer give any fucks apparently.

I didn't love this. Murakami might not be for me.

This book looks like it's fluffy based on the cover but it's about internet privacy for minors. A teen wants to stop her mother from sharing her life and that of her siblings on the internet but it's basically the family's only income source.
#BookSpinBingo @TheAromaofBooks
This is basically a love story set against the end of a divided Germany. I think it was well written. But tbh it took me forever to get into this and it might be my only Erpenbeck for the time being.
#BookSpinBingo @TheAromaofBooks
I would read another one of these. For sure.

I loved this quite a lot. Black Cake was better but that was going to be hard to outdo.

Currently hiding from the rain. Got a book. Found a quiet porch. NBD
French take on the patriarchy and how we got here. It's interesting.

Wrote this on an airplane this morning. We'll see how it goes.
This is very amusing. I have every intention of reading the next book. It's like the main character is stuck in WoW or some other fantasy RPG. I love that.
#BookSpinBingo @TheAromaofBooks
This is interesting but I have no idea how it made the Booker shortlist. It all happens in a day on the ISS as they circle the Earth. It's about the environment and the absurdity of politics and maybe a bit about humanity in general.
#BookSpinBingo @TheAromaofBooks
I didn't love this. But it seems like it might be good for teens.

This author is very funny. And sometimes gross. But she gives me perspective like at least I have some of my shit figured out.
#BookSpinBingo @TheAromaofBooks
#ARC #Netgalley this one is from 2018. Don't judge. I will clean up some of my mess. #Goals
I love these Tiffany Aching books. This is the 5th and final book. The last book he ever wrote, actually. In this they do battle with the elves. I love the wee free men also.
#BookSpinBingo @TheAromaofBooks
Super cute mystery/romance. This was a book club almost pick (we settled on something else). Not sure where my friend found this but I thoroughly enjoyed it.
#BookSpinBingo @TheAromaofBooks
If you like a good psychological thriller, definitely try this one. It's one of those books where it takes the entire story to figure out who's crazy, who's being gaslit, and who is actually in control of the situation.

This is an interesting look at data science and how it can be used and misused, based on your perspective. Fascinating. But not entirely surprising.

Might have gotten pulled in here as well....
I do quite enjoy this author. A former cop from Chicago moves to a small town in Ireland and gets himself involved in a local disappearance.

This is the feedback model we use at work. Some people are better at it than others. There are tons of suggestions and I definitely recommend this. Especially if you're a people manager.
#BookSpinBingo @TheAromaofBooks
This is the latest in the sentient robot trend. A robot girlfriend struggles with her owner who isn't very nice. But also what counts as personhood? Is it abuse if it's a robot? I would actually recommend this as a good book club pick.
#BookSpin @TheAromaofBooks
This is a cute basic mystery. This was my IRL book club pick for October.
#BookSpinBingo @TheAromaofBooks
This is quite exciting. Most exciting is getting it off my Netgalley backlog.

Finally settled on this. Horror set on a remote Irish Isle? Yes, please. That Nghi Vo also looks fab. I generally enjoy her books. This was difficult.

This was interesting and I appreciate the perspective. Seems like I forgot to take a pic.... Whatever. Please feel free to enjoy this very riveting screenshot I boosted off Goodreads.

I enjoyed this quite a lot. My current manager lives in the same town in Maine where this takes place. Otherwise this would not have been front and center on my radar. I think I liked it more than the author's previous books. Historical fiction + murder mystery. Already recommended it to my aunt.
#BookSpinBingo @TheAromaofBooks
This was highly entertaining. I look forward to the next book in the series.

Hendrix mixes horror with social issues in this latest book. Pregnant teens learn witchcraft to fend for themselves and each other. Definitely recommend.

I was convinced James would win the Booker. Then I read this....
#BookSpinBingo @TheAromaofBooks
This is horror and sci-fi/fantasy all rolled in together. A psycho therapist joins a crew on a space mission and then everything goes awry. The Shining vibes for sure.
#BookSpinBingo @TheAromaofBooks
This is one of my favorite authors. This doesn't seem to have an English title yet. It's something like that will remain with us. 3 lonely people end up cohabitating in an apartment in Paris. They all have their own set of obstacles. Your French word of the day is le teckel (the dachshund).
#DoubleSpin @TheAromaofBooks
I don't know Fitzgerald well enough to know if this is a retelling or just inspired by Tender Is the Night. But it's very feminist and I liked it.

This book is so creepy. A 7yo non-verbal child basically spends this entire book trying to kill her mother so she can save daddy while the mother tries to deal with that and her own issues. It's fantastic.

This author is so freaking fluffy. And I'm here for it. I loved all of the Twilight mocking.

This has an appealing cover. The book, however, did not blow me away. A woman, an empath, "builds" a laundry to erase emotional stains.

I've been more interested in Middle Eastern lit for quite a while now. This one is set in Iran in the 1950s. Highly recommend.

I didn't understand why this was so hard to find out in the wild. There were no digital copies. My bestie needed it for her book club. Somehow I ended up with 2 of them. So I guess I lost this round of chicken and actually read it. I approve. Read it. If you can find a copy.

This should come with a warning label. May cause eye leakage. Refrain from using in public spaces.
