Doug and Judy have both had a secret power all their life. Judy can see every possible future, branching out from each moment like infinite trees. Doug can also see the future, but for him, it's a single, locked-in, inexorable sequence of foreordained events. They can't both be right, but over and over again, they are. Obviously these are the last two people in the world who should date. So, naturally, they doSix Months, Three Days is the winner of the 2012 Hugo Award for Best Novelette.

How have I never read Charlie Jane Anders before?! She's amazing. She and Annalee Newitz were fabulous toastmasters at Chicon8, and I love their podcast, Our Opinions are Correct. I picked up this novelette at con, and enjoyed it immensely. Now I'm checking out more of her work.

Lovely short story that questions how much we control of our destiny or if fate control's it for us. Heartbreaking but freeing.

Got a few hours free to binge some short books for my Goodreads challenge. Gotta love that #ItsSoLateItsEarly reading.

I decided there's no way I'll have time to finish another book before the end of 2016, so here's my Goodreads total!

My #yearinbooks and it was a great reading year! I am very grateful that I've found the Litsy community and am looking forward to all the possibilities of 2017! I'm planning of participating in #LitsyAtoZ and #LitsyReadingChallenge and whatever Bookriot announces 🤓

prowlix And the short story Six months, three days is available to read for free and it is amazing http://www.tor.com/2011/06/08/six-months-three-days/ 8y
Seonjoon What app/site are you using to keep track?? And congrats on finishing the challenge(s)! Maybe next year I can make progress on some of these (gotta graduate first 😂). 8y
prowlix @Seonjoon it's Goodreads! They also have a collage of book covers. But I also use a Google Excel to track more data. And graduation is a much bigger goal to focus on 🎓 8y

Beachesnbooks I have the same shortest book as you! 8y
prowlix @Beachesnbooks I thought it was so good! Apparently it's being made into adaptation for NBC 8y
