Ellie Masterson is a wide-eyed young college student. Together, they are driving south from New York, for their first holiday: three days in an isolated cabin, far from the city. Ahead of them, the promise of long, dark nights - and the chance to explore one another's bodies, away from prying eyes. It should be a perfect, romantic trip for two. This book kept me reading, though I did skim paragraphs and sometimes pages at a time. The writing style was a bit overly dramatic for my taste but I did want to know what happened so it‘s a so-so.

I‘m planning to get this and 7 1/2 deaths in the mail early this week.

A solid psychological thriller that kept me turning the pages! Plenty of twisty and wtf moments! Can‘t wait to discuss it at book club!

I bought this before a flight, and read it so fast I should have packed another book. Really easy to get through

I just couldn't get through this one. Very slow build up for something that I felt didn't give me the surprise or shock I was expecting. Both of the characters were unlikable which I think made the story lack that emotional connection with the suspense. The narrators both did a chillingly good job and I liked that we got dual narration. #Audiobook #mystery #suspense

I hated this book. An older professor and his grad student girlfriend go to the Maryland shore for a romantic weekend. Each has a secret agenda. What happens is so drawn out, almost bordering on the comical, at least for me, if I didn‘t know better I would call it satire. It‘s not, so take a hard pass. However, respect to the #MeToo movement
