#ItTakesAllKinds

This title #WithVacation is in my TBR. I read one of the author‘s previous book & enjoyed it. This one is set in Maine & since I have always lived in the PNW & Hawaii, I find summers & vacations on east coast beaches intriguing!

I had this book on hold at the library and it came in. It‘s the story of a family who vacations every summer at their summer home in Maine. As always, there are secrets. It‘s a pleasant read if you feel like you need to put your brain on hold

Another great family saga set in Midcoast Maine! Loved the accuracy of location and the well developed family members and those surrounding the family. This book takes a secret and spins it out revealing differences in class and how decisions effect everyone. Great ending. Moore is great with kids! They kind of steal the show with their letters to dad.

It was great fun to read this book while on vacation in Maine and reading references to places i had recently been. These characters had depth and the storyline was good so I'm not sure I can describe what's missing for me.

Bailing at 21% [2:36:31]—I haven't enjoyed the story since beginning, and it seems like things are only getting worse. I‘m morbidly curious about the connection between Louisa and Kristie, but not enough to suffer through *another* 10 audio hours of their miserable lives! [My real time would be less—I'm not listening at base speed.]
