Who else remembers reading Reader‘s Digest condensed books?
JanuarieTimewalker13 I never have, but I think my mom had one of those when I was a kid. 7y
DreesReads I remember my mother getting these in the 70s, but I was not allowed to touch them. She also got a monthly delivery of heavy paperback books, which I drooled over. I was not allowed to touch them either. She didn‘t read any of them, it drove me CRAZY, right through high school. Then I moved out. (edited) 7y
Kshakal I remember that my grandparents had a lot of them and I would read them when I was visiting there! 7y

MiyakoBunny Omgosh yes!!!! 😱😱😱I actually cherished these because they came straight to my house like gifts from the heavens when I was a kid I ate these up! 7y
MiyakoBunny @AudreyMorris I had to steal and sneak a lot of my reading material as a kid so I feel you. It wasn‘t “Mommy Dearest” level but some of my relatives were close if not worse 😑 7y
DebinHawaii Yes! My parents got them for years and I loved reading them. ❤️📚 7y
Pamwurtzler They were probably some of the OG #bookmail! 7y
