"I can't believe I'm doing this."

Even when Gailey only writes the story for a comic book, you can tell it's a real Sarah Gailey. Therefore, these comic books are not for everybody, and they're a dark and bloody turn on our society and especially on the Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous. The artwork by Bak and Titov just add more to Gaileys talent and make an unforgettable reading experiance.
If you‘re like me then sometimes you think to yourself, “What would a Sarah Gailey comic be like?” and this is exactly that. The character art reminds me a bit of 80s-era Archie comics, with the bold lines, which works well with the story. And it‘s a fun anti-capitalist allegory—and, yes, I can‘t resist a pun on “gory.”
I loved this one so much!!! A remorseless evisceration of capitalism wrapped in a bloody zombie sandwich. (Fair warning: It is graphically bloody). I didn't think this was going to be my cup of tea, but boy was I wrong. Although I wouldn't recommend accepting anything, not even a cuppa, from those high-flyers at Crestfall Bluffs. You've been warned! 🧟♀️

A graphic novel where a young woman is introduced to a community of super wealthy cannibals who kill and eat their household staff. It's gruesome and weird and upsetting, but I'm not sure what else I expected from the premise.
