Book 93/100 of the year.
The main character in this one was just pretty dumb. I won‘t continue this series. Oh well one more off my list.

This was good enough to read the next book when it comes out. I did think the main character was a little dense sometimes. Couldn‘t get to the deep dish pizza restaurant so I made these little pizza bites.
Unfortunately, I wasn‘t able to enjoy this very much; our MC is way too combative for me to enjoy the book. Which is really a shame because the other characters, the time issues it‘s dealing with, and the mystery itself are pretty good.
“Delilah O‘Leary can‘t wait to open her new gourmet deep-dish pizzeria in Geneva Bay, Wisconsin—a charming resort town with a long history as a mobsters‘ hideaway, millionaires‘ playground, and vacation mecca.”

Delilah O‘Leary has everything. A brand new restaurant, a fiancé she loves, & an adorable cat. But the restaurant‘s future is in peril when her aunt‘s caretaker is shot on opening night & her fiancé mysteriously disappears that same night.
The scene settings were good & the lush descriptions of food were fantastic.
But the characters felt flat & stereotypical. I was never invested. & the narrator stumbles over almost all of the clues. ?????
