We’ve had dragons. The award-winning bleak deconstruction couldn’t end without turning its unblinking eye upon a dungeon. There’s no escape. There’s only down. Collects DIE #16-20

Mehso-so

Die uses the imagery and language of RPGs to explore mental health issues. The story was pretty gripping, but the ultimate payoff was a bit of a letdown.

Pickpick

This nominee for the 2022 Hugo Best Graphic Story award is the 4th and final volume of the Die series. The story, which plays with RPG concepts, is not easy to follow. However, this final volume explains a number of things that had me mystified in the earlier books and provides a satisfactory conclusion.
