I‘m really enjoying this series, I‘m finding I‘m picking them up after a busy week and can‘t concentrate on anything heavy. A perfect escape!

Death at Gallows Green is part of a Victorian cosy mystery series featuring an American writer of penny dreadfuls who has inherited property in the UK and her husband, a Sir something or other who is a detective and dabbles in the sciences. In this one, which I really liked, Beatrix Potter is one of the characters and she helps crack the case. #animalcovers #riotgrams

For #day16 of #augustofpages, I picked Robin Paige as my favourite collaboration. This cozy mystery series takes place during the Victorian period and often features notables of the day, such as Beatrix Potter. The series is written by husband and wife team, Bill & Susan Wittig Albert under the pen name of Robin Paige. SWA also writes solo and I very much enjoy her China Bayles mysteries. #augustphotochallenge

SaraFair Ooooh looks awesome. Checks many boxes for me! 8y
PurpleyPumpkin @SaraFair I hope you enjoy it! The series is limited (the last book was published in 2006), but it's fun. 8y
AnnieReads I really enjoyed this series. Wish there had been more of them. 8y
