pickThis was a damned good way to spend an evening. Rai's prose crackles with tension, sexual and otherwise, as she reunites two lovers who learned the BDSM ropes together a decade back. Lots and lots of emotionally-charged kinky sex ensues.
Lots. And. LOTS. This is absolutely erotica. Those of y'all who want less explicit sex in your romance aren't gonna like this, but everyone else should add PLAY WITH ME to their wishlist.
I wanted to do a book & beer thing tonight, but my stomach protested so I went with popcorn instead.
This is my second Alisha Rai novel, and I was a little leery going in because the first one's sex scenes were NOT my brand of hot. Luckily, that ain't an issue here. I might even finish it tonight.
pickWhile I wasn't into the kink in this book, I really enjoyed reading it! Very sex and consent positive. I liked the history between the main characters, which made the heightened emotions more authentic. I will read the other books in this series. #romansty
