My dad grew up in rural Victoria & earnt pocket money ‘rabbiting‘ as a teenager. As kids my siblings and I went rabbiting with him.
I really enjoyed this beautifully written book.

CarolynM One of my book group friends loved this, but she also loved The Rain Heron and that really was not my cup of tea. It‘s an interesting short list for the Miles this year. I loved Cold Enough For Snow and there are a couple of others I want to read. 1y

Rissreads @CarolynM I enjoyed this a lot more than cold enough for snow. This is Arnott‘s first novel without magic realism so maybe you would enjoy this one more? I enjoyed Flames but haven‘t read Rain Herron yet. 1y
