Joyce Carol Oates‘s book is from my son; the others I ordered. Oates was at the Mark Twain House yesterday. The event was sold out when I looked into tickets. He is so thoughtful!

Ruthiella Sweet! The YouTuber Eric Karl Anderson just gave “Fox” a rave review. 1w

This was a pleasant surprise and must-read! Wilkinson wrote this at the onset of the pandemic, a time when no one could have their friends over to discuss literature and world views over sumptuous food.

In this book she writes about “revolutionary” women of the past who she‘s invited to her imaginary dinner party. I learned so much! It‘s not just about food writing.

This was a spontaneous #hoopla selection and it paid off.

This is a WONDERFUL BOOK!!! My TBR has grown more than any other book I have read. I listened to the audiobook and the narrator, Erin Deward, was a perfect choice. I loved hearing the stories of each of the women at this dinner party. #109 #BookSpin #BFC22 #MMDBookClub #PromptMaze #WickedWords - Food

EvieBee I just finished this and it was delectable! I was never interested in Octavia Butler‘s work, but it was one of the most interesting chapters in the book. I decided to start with the book Dawn. 3y
Allylu @EvieBee I‘m so glad you liked it, too!! 3y
