Read this in January for the #booknaturalists book club. I really enjoyed it. Would highly recommend it if you like quiet, thoughtful, and introspective non-fiction nature writing. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I‘ve spent every single day this year looking at the hills. I‘ve spent hours doing “nothing.” Days. Maybe weeks. I do not think it has been wasted.

Besides my house, my #faveplacetorelax are the AMC lodges in Maine near the 100 mile wilderness. We went to Little Lyford for the first time last year and are going to Gorman this year. No electricity or cell service, just gas lamps, a wood stove, and 3 meals a day. Heaven. #augustphotochallenge
