Heartless: A Small Town Single Dad Romance
Heartless: A Small Town Single Dad Romance | Elsie Silver
8 posts | 9 read | 6 to read
Working as a nanny for the world's grumpiest single dad should have been simple. Except I can't keep my eyes off him. And he can't keep his hands off of me. Cade Eaton is thirteen years older than I am and barely looks my way. Until I get him into the hot tub one night for a game of truth or dare. Then all bets are off-and so are our clothes. He's gruff, a little rough around the edges. But broad-shouldered ranchers with calloused hands and filthy mouths are this city girl's kryptonite. So who am I to resist? But it's in our quiet moments together that he softens. It's when he takes care of me that I realize his hardened exterior is just a faade. It's when I watch him go all sweet with his little boy that I really fall for him. Someone convinced him once that his best wasn't good enough. But I've never felt more cherished than I do in his arms. My contract may say this arrangement is only for two months. But my heart says this is forever.

Cade is looking for a nanny for his son, Luke. Willa arrives in town and the rules are simple - look after Luke. The issue is they can‘t keep their eyes off each other. One night in the hot tub changes how they see each other. Willas contract is for two months but will it be changed to forever.
Cade sounded so grumpy and scowling but was a doting dad. Willa is loud, witty and carefree.
A slow burn read with a great set of characters.

Enjoyable easy escapist romance ❤️‍🔥 no 2 In the series and not as good as the first , mostly listened on audio which had dual narrators male and female which I enjoy rather than one actor putting on fake voices which can ruin a good book .

Damn Cade! Who doesn't love a grumpy sunshine romance! Willa is everything Cade and Luke need and didn't expect. Watching her bring life into Cade was beautiful. Is it just me, or is Hearvey absolutely loving watching his boys drop one by one. And man he's such a hoot! I can't wait to see what he says or does next! I can't wait to see how hard Jasper falls in book 3! I could just kick myself at how long these books have been sat on my bookshelf!

What a top tier romance. Book 1 was fun, but this just blew me away (pun intended IYKYK). Two incredibly lovable protagonists and an adorable kid. No third act breakup. Just pure entertainment and solid steamy times. One of my top romances of the year. 5⭐️

LeeRHarry I need to get to this one as I really enjoyed the first one 😊 14mo
LeeRHarry Just finished, it was excellent! 😊 just ordered the third. 13mo

Hot DAMN this series is good. Like, butter my butt and call me a biscuit if I'm not damn near ready to move my happy ass to Chestnut Springs and bag me one of the Eaton boys so I can die a happy girl. Shew, I've literally never daydreamed about marrying a cowboy (a sexy, single DILF cowboy no less!) and living the rest of my days on a ranch, until now. Elsie Silver's got me in a Yellwstone-esque chokehold (just with less violence) and I'm not mad!

TheBookgeekFrau 😄 I love your reviews; they give me the giggles 😁 2y
LeeRHarry Just finished this one myself and reading through the reviews - loved this one 😂 sums my feelings up very nicely 😏 13mo
