I decided to start painting my bulkhead like the TARDIS today while finishing the tagged book.

What a strange read. The reader sees the events from mercurial Gigi‘s perspective after the disappearance of her sister M. The disappearance gains notoriety as M is both an artiste & an heiress. It becomes clear that Gigi & M didn‘t always get along, possibly that she barely knew her sister at all as Gigi &others insert themselves into the investigation

This book is partly the mystery indicated in the title, but at it‘s heart, it‘s a character study of the protagonist (not the missing sister). She‘s unusual and hard to pin down. By the end, I frankly still wasn‘t quite sure what had happened. I think my brain will probably noodle on this one for a while. I‘m not entirely sure if I liked it, but I appreciate it.

Fast shipping to my little spot in the world is unusual, so #aardvark for the win this month! I‘m delighted to see this here much sooner than I expected. #botm on the other hand…not sure when that one will decide to show up. At least one more week and I‘m guessing closer to two. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Ok, so I could be WAY off with my guess for this #Aardvark clue given the prominent author, but the clues seem to fit! Two sisters, one consistently referred to as more beautiful than the other (🪞), move home with their dad after their mom dies (👨‍👧‍👧). When the more beautiful sister vanishes, footprints are left in the snow (👣). Bit by bit, clues are revealed and turns out lil sis wasn't a fan. Did she leave on her own? Was there foul play❓
