I thought this was a cute romance/rom com, but the main draw is the setting at the Tower of London, where the author lived. I loved the inside scoop about what it would be like to live there, with some history mixed in.

I was really looking forward to reading this but I felt it promised lots but didn‘t deliver. Maggie lives with her father in the Tower of London. She‘s just broken up with her long term boyfriend. An encounter with a Royal Guard forces Maggie to decide not to give up on love. After joining Tinder and going on some hilarious dates, will she ever pluck up the courage to go after what she really wants?
A clean romance filled with history and fun.
I wanted to like this book more than I did. The author actually lived at the Tower of London, so the insider views of the place are interesting and the best part of the story. The romance and characters themselves were difficult to get enthused about.
I'm starting to think romcom's just aren't my cuppa anymore. Whilst this had a great premise, and I wanted to like this one...it just fell flat for me. Forgettable and easy to read. #LittensLoveRomance #bookspin @TheAromaofBooks
Written by a women who grew up at The Tower of London this #RomCom was inspired by Clawson's "neighbours" and "neighbourhood".
Clumsy red-head meets Darcy-esque red-coat this could have been just another enemies-to-lovers story, but it's the setting and the insider information that's the USP.
I did not fall hard for this. I didn‘t even fall a little. I thought I would love this, or at least enjoy it, but unfortunately I really didn‘t. This was pretty boring; it was a lot of her being down on herself and the romance portion came pretty far back. This just wasn‘t a fun read for me. But, the historical facts, descriptions of the Tower and life for those who live there, and all that was amazing.
