I didn‘t knew anything about the author or anything about this series since I bought this book “blindly” but it‘s crazy how fast I got attached
The way it had me sobbing in the end and
the cliffhanger😫

💙 I pre-ordered the collector's edition of the tagged book. I want it to match my copy of the first book. 😉
💙 I don't pre-order a lot, but I'd say it's pretty equally split between stand alone and series.

A lot of action, adventure, and Isla finding herself through her strengths and abilities. The timeline jumps between present day and before the Centennial, giving more backstory with Isla and Grim. And of course, it ends on a big cliffhanger. I want to read the final book right away, but I‘ll probably wait awhile. Book #46 in 2025

Hadn't heard of this series until I saw the author on one of those morning shows talking about the release of the 3rd book of the series. I liked the 1st one (4 stars) and although the build up in this 2nd book was a little slow, the ending was SO so good. Such an exquisite cliffhanger!! It all had to be written the way it was for the readers to be extremely invested in the outcome of these characters. Looking forward to reading the last book. 5⭐

I know a lot of people didn‘t like Lightlark, but I did and I enjoyed this one just as much, can‘t wait for the conclusion in November.

I do love this series but didn‘t like this as much as the first book… also… it‘s hard to say what is disturbing about the plot without giving spoilers… but again, creepy guys. I‘ll still read more however.

4⭐️ I feel like anything and everything I want to say would spoil this book. It‘s a similar concept to book 1 in that the rulers only have a set # of days to save LightLark, however this time Isla has her powers. The book hops between before Centennial and present day, but is remembering worth the pain? All previous characters make an appearance, and introduces some new ones. Decent sequel- can‘t wait for the 3rd!!

Sequel to Lightlark. In the wake of the breaking of the curses, Isla has to regain her memories stolen by the ruler of Nightshade to fight to keep Lightlark from falling.
