pickStephen is a worried possibly uncontrollably murderous paladin who knits socks while Grace is a self conscious perfumer with a penchant for trouble. These two are sweet and exemplify the cozy romantic fantasy of Kingfisher.
I preferred Swordheart (sequel 🙏), but will for sure read the rest of this series. It was nice being familiar with this world of Rat 🐀 priests and terrible temple of the mother. #romantsy #cozyfantasy #knittersoflitsy

It's nice to see Princess Alina growing into a strong queen. The courtiers in Troivack are very formidable women.
The villains in this series are turning out to be very interesting as well!
I would recommend this author to anyone who loves fantasy, comedy, and mystery.
My Kobo keeps telling me my next chapter of A TASTE OF GOLD AND IRON will take me an hour or so to read and I‘m like, “Yes, good, bring it on and serve me up the next one, too.”
It‘s far from an action-packed book, but there‘s SO MUCH good character work as these people find their way towards each other and grow in the process. Tadek is a wonderful surprise, too. Rowland rejects the expected path for him.
