pickI admit I was intrigued by the Murdaughs. I watched the whole trail on CourtTV. Of course, when I found out about this book, I had to read it. It's the memoir of the reporter that knew something was off from the beginning Mandy Matney.
Though this book.has had mixed reviews, I liked it. I gave it 3.5⭐ because there were parts that got a little bogged down. If you were interested in the cases against Alex, give the book a try.
pickI was captivated by the whole Murdaugh saga since I found the Murdaugh Murders podcast early on. Naturally I wanted to read this book ASAP. It's a memoir about Mandy's beginnings in journalism and about how she became involved with reporting on the Murdaughs. It also follows the Murdaugh saga (of course). It's not a deep dive into the Murdaughs since it is a memoir (other books do that). I had a hard time putting this one down.
I have the next four days off. 🎉
I'm starting my long weekend with a true crime about the Murdaugh family. This is an ARC that comes out in November.
