Third book in Devoured Worlds series.

What a ride?! At times I thought it was dragging on. Then there was so much action I had to go back and listen to some parts again. And then I checked how much book was left because it just couldn't end yet.

Definitely a series I'll be re-reading.

105/150 It took me longer than usual to finish a book, it was so dark, so grim, so full of heartbreaking emotions, that I had to sit it down and take breaks from listening. If you've read the first two books of The Devoured Worlds trilogy you know what to expect, but its amplified in the finale to an almost unbearable level. That said, the author is still able to give the reader a positive ending that doesn't feel manipulative or unrealistic.

RamsFan1963 @julesG @Bette Thank you for the suggestions. I found a book on Audible Plus called Isaac Steele and The Forever Man. It reminds me a lot of Keith Laumer's Retief series. Its basically a murder mystery, but with lots of snarkiness and an absurd sense of humor regarding galactic politics and bureaucracy. Sadly it's not in Litsy's database. 3mo

Oh Boy!! Its time to start reading the final book in The Devoured Worlds trilogy. I loved the first two books, so I desperately hope the author sticks the landing, and gives us a satisfying conclusion to Naira and Tarquin's adventure and romance.
