Belinda “Billie” Layton is the focus here. A lot changes in her athletic life— her mom is expecting a son & her best friend, Jim Sturbridge suddenly starts ditching her to hang out with boy-crazy Sally Holcomb & on top of it all, she gets her first period! Jessica tries to be a good friend to her (not only on behalf of the Unicorns, but she also gives a makeover to the tomboy). Her parents name her brother William but she gets her mojo & Jim back!
