Here‘s my progress on the tagged book. I‘m using Fable to show it because it has the most accurate page count for my edition of the book. I‘m almost done. I have 6 chapters left. I read as much as I could of this book last night. I‘m glad I had text-to-speech available for this Netgalley ARC so I could give my eyes a break. The only thing I was looking at in the book was the little illustrations at the end of the recipes.
I started this book tonight. I like it so far. It has true crime stories and then it has cocktail recipes to match the stories and I really like that. Will I make the cocktails? No but I do think this is a really fun read and so far, it‘s reading fast which is great because I need some quick reads. I had 67 Netgalley ARCs to read this month but I‘ve read 5 of them so far so my number has gone down to 62. It‘s still a lot but it‘s going down.
I‘m going to start this book next. I‘m looking forward to this one. Hachette Books approved me for this one after I requested it. I think this one will be fun to read for #hauntedshelf because it combines true crime and cocktails and I think I can count it as a spooky or autumn read. It could also be a good book to do the #wordsearch on.
I was just approved for these 2 books and some other ones that I requested too. These are both being released in October by Hachette Books. I‘m excited about these. I‘m looking forward to reading them. These would be perfect to read in October. I‘ve been in a nonfiction reading mood lately because the nonfiction books from Netgalley have been really good and I want to read a lot of them which means I don‘t feel like reading what I own right now.
