I love a book about someone on a journey, especially a #walk, fiction or non. I think A Walk Across America may have started this interest. My senior English teacher had us read this.

I read this book a couple of years ago for a book club and really enjoyed it. Peter‘s story telling is great, you almost feel like you‘re right there walking with him sometimes.Forget running with Gump, walk with Peter! Warning, expect some tears.
This is one of those books that follows you through a lifetime. I first picked it up around 16 years old and immediately fell in love with the entire concept. Peter has a great way of pulling you into his experiences. Flash forward to my early twenties; I find the book on my shelf and read it again. And again in my early 30s. Every decade of age progression brings a new perspective and appreciation of this amazing journey. Must read.
