🥴 I‘m kind of glad I‘m not her child or the mother of her grandson. Sacrilegious, I know. She‘s a wonderful person & has taught me so much about humor and faith, but she is a NERVOUS NELLY!
💖 I appreciate how honest she is about her desire to be so involved in her grandson‘s life. She can be a loving & helpful presence but she can also be very overwhelming. She owns that & reminded me to check my own actions with my family.
AmyG I love Anne, too. While I haven‘t read this one...yes, it‘s not easy to stand back and let your child raise their child without all of your input. 🤣 4y
Suet624 @AmyG 🤣🤣 I don‘t offer a lot of opinions but I‘m always surprised that my daughters don‘t ask for it. Then I remember that I never asked my mother for her opinion on anything, so...karma. 4y

Centique That‘s so interesting to hear. I‘ve been meaning to read a Lamott book about motherhood - maybe that one on my TBR is about having her son? This will be interesting too. My MIL likes to get hyper involved in her grandkids lives but luckily for me her daughter‘s kids bear most of the brunt of it 😂😂 4y
