I very much enjoyed this one. It‘s very different to the author‘s Ruth Galloway Mysteries. If you enjoy mysteries and time travel stories, you‘ll love The Frozen People. Quite clever with some interesting characters and a humorous vibe. I‘m looking forward to book two!

Loved this first book in a new time-travelling series.

And a map as endpapers. Nice touch!

What did Victorian women do with their time? She hears Elizabeth's voice. You have to be able to make a posset, sew a seam and recite the Lord's Prayer. Can you do any of those things? Whatever your views on praying and sewing, they certainly fill in the time.

From the library. I love Elly Griffiths Ruth Galloway Mysteries and I love a bit of time travel so I‘m looking forward to reading this first book in a new series.

Excited to have grabbed this off the express loans shelf!

I really enjoy this authors series that features Dr. Ruth Galloway. This is a new series by her featuring a detective by the name of Allison or Alie. She is a cold case detective with a twist. For me it was between a pick and a so-so. When the next one comes out I'll give it a go and see how I feel then.
