A new company for a new prophecy. Ancient Belgarath, his most revered daughter, the Bearer of the Orb, Garion, Ce‘Nedra, the Guide, the Man with Two Lives, the Huntress, the Man Who is No Man, the Empty One, the Woman Who Watches and one other.

A slow start as it catches us up on what the characters from the 'Belgariad' are up to in the five or so years since the end of that series and sets the scene for the new adventure.

So did we all, including the characters. They're a bit nonplussed, too. 😊

Don't worry, Things do start to happen, about halfway through, and there's plenty of action after that.

Garion gets a lesson in climate change and man‘s causal effect.

At 16 hrs and a smidge, I think I‘m done with #24b4Monday. I‘m satisfied with my progress—5 books finished, two blog posts, one puzzle completed and one half done.

Despite the flat tire I found on my car this morning, it‘s been a good weekend. 😀

Book 1 in the Malloreon series and a very good beginning. I loved the first series so much and am hoping this one is just as good. The story is interesting with some lovely and funny light moments to break up the darker ones. I loved the birth scene it was so sweet and funny. The ending just left me wanting more. I still love Garion so much. Hes a great lead and I've loved watching him grow up.

Well adding up all my scores puts me at just under 14 hours sadly nowhere near the 24 hour mark but I'm impressed with the score. #24B42019

Finished the audio version of this one yesterday. Meh, I really didn't get into the story until about halfway through. Not sure if I will check into the others in the series.
