pickA few reviews today... This one is the next Leaphorn & Chee book, and it was quite fun to have these two characters finally working together! Hillerman does a great job contrasting their detecting styles as well as using them to illustrate how even people from the same culture/similar backgrounds can grow up to have completely different perspectives about life. The mystery itself was also quite good - so far, this series is getting better with ⬇️

I'm going to stick with my Hillerman thread today and say #wegotogether like Joe Leaphorn & Jim Chee. This is my favorite book in the series and features them both! I don't think you need to read the series in order, but I would! This is number seven.
