Arrows of the Queen | Mercedes Lackey

Pickpick

I just finished Arrows of the Queen, the first book of the Arrows Trilogy. This was Mercedes Lackey‘s debut novel and the first of many more books to come. The book has more world building in my opinion than storyline which was completely fine with me. Perhaps the author‘s intent was to set up the reader for the many books to come. Overall a great read! This has now become one of my favorite books of 2019. #80sfantasy #heraldsofvaldemar #talia

Deifio Let me know how you like the whole trilogy. I liked it, but I think you can really tell that it's an older fantasy trilogy. 😅 5y
vumblereads @Deifio yes I‘m planning to finish the rest of the trilogy once I‘m done with #thedalemarkquartet 👌🏼 5y

Went to the theater today to watch The Dark Crystal. Labyrinth doesn‘t hold up as well on the big screen but this one? Definitely stunning. I think it‘s running in select theaters for few more days if anyone wants to try to see it.

kamoorephoto I still love Dark Crystal, Labyrinth and the Neverending Story - maybe the last one the most because I remember reading the book... imagine that...📖 7y
SkeletonKey @kamoorephoto - So good!! I‘d love to reread The Neverending Story. 7y
TricksyTails 😍😍😍 Dark Crystal! I‘m surprised about Labyrinth. I‘ll just get my fix on the small screen then. 😊 7y
SkeletonKey @TricksyTails - I‘ll still say that Labyrinth is worth seeing in the theater but some of the effects they used didn‘t blend as well! 😆 7y
