pick⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Spiegelman‘s second volume focuses on his father Vladek‘s time in the camps. It‘s a brutal read, and as with volume one, we also glimpse the aftereffects. Surviving is a lifelong challenge. I can‘t stress enough how essential these books are to better understanding what so many innocent people experienced. It‘s within the pages of banned and challenged books, that empathy flourishes.
